Around the world it takes it's toll
So many things out of control
No change on the horizon soon
So many locked inside their rooms
Each day our resolve hits a peak
This virus plays it's hide and seek
And all the time we fight it still
We'll beat it, I am sure we will
But in between the ups and downs
Behind the tears and sobs and frowns
Hidden smiles can raise the senses
Nothing breaks down our defences
Together, there will come a day
When all our fears will go away
Until they do, we just hold on
And fight until the hurt is gone
