After the first rain, we get the smell of the newly drenched Earth and it is so refreshing! It is believed that snakes are very fond of that smell and they come out from the hollows to eat the mud! So elders often warn not to walk in the twilight of the evening after first rains! A good poem, Geetha! !

that is why some baby like to eat soil. it is right still now i prefer to take tea in a soil pot (in hindi kullhar n in bengali bhand) grt job.in train or footpath plastic cup should b totally restricted only soil pot should b allowed.
