Argument's All Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Argument's All

Argument's All

If it matters and you're comfortable,
last night's rains and temperature,

If the storms outside is unsavory but warm inside,
like this single glow of the fire,

And the cupboards and decorations,
are arrangedto your likings,

And the nights retirements brings closer to
wife and the children,

And how the compromises
are willingly accepted,

This small vote's entitlement
you were given
life with its honor,
deaths with its horror,

And thetimes for the conclusions
and the passing adventures,

That nothing's ever reasonable
than the prevailing thought,

A memory of your loved ones,
and the harm that was undone,

And after all the legacies,
It came as forgiven,
