Apostle's Smile: Enduring With Grace Poem by April Humason

Apostle's Smile: Enduring With Grace

In lands afar, as an apostle I roam,
With a mission of love, I'm not alone.
Through trials and storms, I'll steadfastly go,
Taking the beating with a smile, that's my woe.

'For I can do all things through Christ, ' I'll say,
His strength in me, guiding my way.
In the face of adversity, I'll stand tall,
Spreading His message, answering the call.

Though hardships abound, I won't be deterred,
'For I am with you always, ' His word assured.
With unwavering faith, my soul is secured,
By His grace and love, I am reassured.

Through valleys and mountains, I'll journey ahead,
'Be strong and courageous, ' His words I'll embed.
Guided by His light, where love's seeds are spread,
'In all your ways acknowledge Him, ' I'll be led.

In the darkest hours, I'll carry His grace,
'For I am the light, ' His love will embrace.
Taking the beating with a smile on my face,
'For I know the plans I have for you, ' His grace.

For in His wisdom, I find strength to endure,
His words of truth, forever secure.
His boundless love, my soul will procure,
'For God so loved the world, ' His love is pure.

No matter the trials, no matter the strife,
'For the Lord is my strength, ' in Him I find life.
I'll face every challenge with joy in my life,
'For this is the day that the Lord has made, ' rife.

With the mark of an apostle, I'll walk with pride,
'In the beginning was the Word, ' my guide.
Spreading His teachings, far and wide,
'For God is love, ' I'll let His love reside.

Through pain and suffering, I'll remain strong,
'For I can do all things through Christ, ' my song.
Taking the beating with a smile all along,
'For I can endure all things, ' with His throng.
