Apology Letter To Thyself Poem by Somendra Gaur

Apology Letter To Thyself

Emotions are turning pale,
Chest heavy; Frail

Comparing my psyche to a snail
All set to furl my brails
Half my chest,
Not ready for the sail,
At the end of each day my thoughts still prevail,

Praying to be served some foolishness,
Wisdom doesn't help me get the bail,

Swimming away from the tears of a cheater,
Chloride in tears,
Instills fear,
Still a repeater.

My thought process is a jail
But
'The man in the mirror' is too big to fail
