Apogee Poem by Leon Moon

Apogee

Rating: 5.0

In a breath
You negate

Awake
At death

In a room
You create

Permeate —

I can't split the difference
Gone within an instance
Just another system
Set up to be lost in
I can't split the difference
On trickles the wisdom
Of a memory long forgotten
A dead god who's dreams are woken

Myriad of truths circle into one
And you awaken to the force of your own sun
Once more,
Find yourself,
Falling for...

Held by the cells of your own fruition
Even God can't escape freedom's prison
Lead by split decisions of a distant vision
Reflective incisions replace what's missing

And alone we share the sides we're given
Tied in division, poached by the wisdom
Chasing the wind we forge, forever sitting
In the sinking sun which rises above

The ground we crowned with clouds and blood
Surrounded by the air where all's understood
No longer suffocating boredom out of love
In the star sealed lodge, sleep leaves a scar

And the shadows farce rises apart
No longer veiled as the gospel of the heart
You're always with me despite where you are
Entwined within the core your waters become

And the myriad of truths circle into one
As you awaken to the force of your own sun

Once more,
Falling for...

Once more...
