Apocrypha: Psalm 56 (Refrain Stanza) Poem by Gert Strydom

Apocrypha: Psalm 56 (Refrain Stanza)

You do still remain the ruler of the universe
even if man cannot the impact of a virus reverse,
even if a deadly time does come,
in the fierce struggle You do still lead me home,
where people die and some do You curse
and through dangers You do lead me day and night,
even when all kind of hope is out of sight.
You do bring rest even if the world is with evil perverse,
even if man cannot the impact of a virus reverse
