Apocrypha: Psalm 18 Poem by Gert Strydom

Apocrypha: Psalm 18

Like in a dream the yesterdays are gone
and today You, my Lord, do straighten my ways
where only You do know what waits in the new tomorrow,
where You have already provided everything
and some days are good and others I find bad
but at my side You do still stand in Your omnipotence
while one after the other my days pass me by
where as a trivial human being I believe sincerely
and today You, my Lord, do straighten my ways.
