ummmmmm.... I feel like a cat purring while reading these subtle and sensual lines: Silken is the falling moon-- her light gently cast--I touch and think of her and reach out; clouds declining-- moonlight fills her eyes.

Mesmerizing still to read this golden silken poem time and again. CONGRATULATIONS on being chosen as The Member Poem Of The Day. Hurray for Captain Cur, myriad of years lived before in ancient myths upon the cliffs. In poetic works humble thoughts grow bold but this poet adds dimension to the soul. Twice read, as if Great Magic is evolving coming from ancient greek side. A most beautiful poem in its archaic format. Hail to Aoide!

Citing the first two lines of your Poet's Notes: In Greek mythology, Aoide was one of the three original Boeotian muses. She is the muse of voice and song.
