This is a sensational poem, Soul. I am transported back in time reading this, and can relive some fond memories. What triggered the sensation was the element of contrast, contradiction. You remind me there is youth and escape with age. There is immortality in the garden, a place of constant renewal. There is vulnerability and an exposition of truth in secrecy...This work is a wonderful gateway to nostalgia. Great work, Soul.

Merci, merci...the idea of this poem is like passing the most tresured thing to someone, to keep it alive although we are no more there...i believe as we pass this feeling to who we care, they may feel the same as we feel...i dont know how it can relates to your nostalgia, but when i write it it just hit my mind (luckily it wasnt stone..just idea and feeling) ...the good thing about growing up and going old is we have many great things and moment...without following time, we will never experience this...yes some sour there but great ones are abundant too...worth to grow old i guess...like we discussed before, it just aging body not our soul/heart.

Hi. What's in immortality? I guess it would be boring to be immortal... Have you heard about the myth of Sibyl of Cumae? I saw with my own eyes the Sibyl at Cumae hanging in a cage, and when the boys said to her 'Sibyl, what do you want? ' that one replied 'I want to die'. If I were John Donne I would say you and your beloved should say goodbye to earthly love and then start a heavenly love in order to have an immortal love. But I am not Donne! hehe. Anyway people live with their beliefs. And they differ. No problem with it. Good Luck.

fascinating soul. the garden of immortality.gaurdening the eternity. some thing penetrated to my mind while i was reading this poem.you know what: if we plant just a tree for every one we love we will have the green plant with fresh air.and those trees would be the signs of our loves and if some day we die they are going to continue their lives after us.and this would be the eternity. i have to confess although i had read some part of it before but it still for me new and fresh ~nb
