I cannot find any poetry

I cannot find the something I want to hear, that speaks all too clear, of the something that is you knowing me

I cannot find my story in the words of another, in the oh how it hurts so much, or maybe it's okay, just slow down my brother

My song is a one hit wonder that nobody else sings

My one is the one who's not here with no wedding ring

My fear is everybody else's and not so unique

My victory is a day late, a dollar short and an old couch left on the street

I cannot find a way to tell somebody how I feel, how it's real or how lost it all seems

I cannot find the letters for sounds that make feelings go round and around, until they spill out of me.
