Ants (The Reflection) Poem by Nafisah Daniella Ozohu Suleiman

Ants (The Reflection)

I am no stranger;
I gather my sweetness and a song.
Inspiring, maddening, and stirring the page—
These words of mine light the stage.

From above, my Father decreed,
'Go to the ant, observe its creed.
Consider its ways, and wisdom you'll find, '
And I, a seeker, I embraced.

I am no stranger to what life will throw;
I gird my loins, I seek my place.
Inspiring, maddening, and finding my way,
Through the labyrinth of this paper today.
