Ants Poem by Chukwuma Adione

Ants

A parade of ants
put to flight my boredom
i kept a piece of cake in safety
yet this little devourers like
the modern thieves in fancy offices
paraded my cake against its safety
and devoured it without respect
all i could do was watch, think and conclude
this guys dressed in authority
eating the national cake are actually ants
wow! ! ! ! mere ants.
