Great imagery.....Valsa....dreams turning into nightmares by the sweet-splashing rain.......very well composed..10/10
A beautiful poem. An apt title. Soft rains turning into tumultuous storms, while the poet is put to sleep by the soft whispers of rain carrying her to a dreamland, and then: 'The windows turning on their hinges And the doors snap open and shut'. As the poet wakes up, she sees, 'The land inundated Trees, arm twisted And the leaves still shedding Drops of tears! ' Beautiful imagery indeed! 10/10.
I just love the rain and a little flood as the result of a whole day rain. I love your style in picturing an image of rain at your perspective. thanks for sharing. :)
Again, thank you very much for such unconditional inspiration. your poem, as always been, inspired me to recollect the premises and just as a child, have had my babbling duly done and submitting. God Bless. a really, highly inspiring craft in the most humblest frame is what you have mastered.
A Bribe with their limbs arm-twisted, who will deny the trees tears? if you write ME a FUNNY poem, i'll share, with you, some beers. thanks for the poem, valsa. :) maybe i'd throw in some cheese and crackers also.
Its that time again for rain, rain and more rain. The Boy Scouts have the motto, 'be prepared' - good advice.
Dave walker is spot on... it goes in my poems' list for its imagery so realistically presented! ! !
The poem scores in both the ways. The request of Mr Kee Thampi is surely honoured and the pleasure of reading such a short poem on the vibrant beauty of rain has been rightly derived. Thank you Madam Valsa for your flexibility.
The rain can start in a really gentle relaxing sound, then without warning it can turn into a storm of massive proportions. A great poem.
when we realize with love to read .......'' windows turning on their hinges And the doors snap open a......''
This poem shows that you can write a surrealistic poem to make one view the twisted objects. Beautifully presented. Thank you.
