When the students moved to Tiananmen Square requesting more democratic self determination, the world looked up to them, for ushering democracy in all authoritarian societies. But the communist China's battle tanks moved to kill everybody. Another Jalianwala Bagh massacre.

Thank You, Miss Grace. I still remember those days in 1989, when we sat glued to radio, tv and newspapers to know the latest. And when the Chinese Tanks moved in we all died several deaths in our hearts,

This heart wrenching poem is a prime example of why poetry is the most difficult form of writing. Every single word has to be meaningful! And Poet Menon, you've done that! Your poem moved me beyond tears. And reading it while listening to meaningful music, just made it even more powerful!

Let me quote from Shelley, "My heart aches, of hemlock have drunk…', when I recall the sacrifice of the budding geniuses who perished in Tiananmen Square. Thank You Richard.
