line 2: 'near' ok. I think 'near home' is implied, away from the store and your wife's buying obsession. But I THINK your marriage is pretty safe....for now. bri : )
stanza 3: I love the 'being/disagreeing' rhyme and meaning. 'Being' here, I'm sure, refers to your 'self', your life, your whole existence
Ok, maybe you don't fear your wife per se [and I never use 'per se', as it is 'foreign' to me in more than one way, ....so my use may NOT be proper here], .... but that you fear being locked in the store after closing?
line 6: maybe 'be dreary'. Asim, your opinion won't be genuine? ! ! Don't tell me that your 'fear' of your wife trumps your natural tendency to be completely honest! ! !
O ho! Asim ji, this is the case with every lady. They love shopping and they are meticulous and choosy. Don't i know it, men generally are not fond of shopping......Hilarious poem. Enjoyed reading it......Top score + to my Favourite
Nice witty poem. It's true of all women. They like to spend hours on shopping. Whereas it's just the opposite with men.
your poetic expression about your partner made me smile; yes, true you are; sometimes I feel every woman is same; Almighty God made them from the same theme! nice to read you
I like humorous poems...thanks a lot for giving me a happy and cheerful morning...many**************
Something absolutely remarkable does happen when you agree to do each other's shopping.. I have made that discovery. Simply a fantastic verse, Asim.
5 stars, young man. : ) bri
