Another Better Life Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Another Better Life

Rating: 5.0

Maybe you're not happy
With your spoiled life
Racing your fast car
To oblivion
Chasing night after night
Wannabe starlets
Adding coke to life
Escaping this life
With mind-f***ing drugs

Maybe what you now need…
Dose of reality
Escaping place of home
To a dismal abode
Stripped of your dignity
No damn possessions
No mommy nor daddy
To now bail you out

Maybe what you now need
Is time...for reflection
All the time in the world
To remember...your sins
To plead...for forgiveness
To ask The Creator
For...one other...better life

The repugnant behaviour of some people, is intollerable, and those who come from privilege, even more so. Stellar poem Richard, may the actions of those who think they can escape justice be condemned.

Better life. Yes. For this to happen the present life must be made good. That is spiritual evolution, something Darwin never thought of. Insightful poem

Go for it, but be careful with their reaction. This poem was written with Carson Briere in mind. His actions were despicable. This was my way of venting my anger!
