I was reading Sexton tonight, just prior to coming here and found the segue from there to here a smooth one - which is, perhaps, one of the best compliments I could offer on this page. 'beautiful scars, like / Burns in the pie-crust of American' was enough to ensure I didn't turn away part way through. And the closing four words, cinched it for me. Apparently, I am not alone.
