OMG I love this poem, So simple yet puts out such a powerful message. Many of us are like the puppy, begging for love.
Cats, like daughters, are always loving and caring and doing favors but the puppy, like the boys, are always demanding. Nice poem.
Too short for me to be able to judge your work, and not my taste
The cat you wish could embark on a hunting expedition but I doubt the puppy. The puppy in you is still growing and who knows what the puppy will be tomorrow. Nice job!
are the cats so lovable giving the love unconditionally? sorry I couldn't get the picture right...anyway it is only animal spirit! ! but the way cats meow at people is too scary and I can't symbolize those little being as the givers of love....in contrary the puppies are lovable and go to people wagging their tails..Congratulations Tanja Bulovic..Keep it up..
Begging for love for what? It deserves at all times from the near and dear ones and also to reciprocate.nice writing.
Meaningful write, we are only human we desire for love of beg for it...it will come on time do not be worried!
Ouch! Giving love as a huge favour? Only sociopaths do that. Steer well clear of anyone who makes you feel like you are begging for it. Nothing cute about this at all. Very meaningful use of metaphor. So much for domestic animals, sounds like someone subjected to domestic abuse!
Very sensible. Wishing dt instead of being the one craving to be cared for, you're the one showing care and sharing the love to others. We all find ourselves fighting ds battle in ourselves at one point or d other. Great write.
This is hard to say (I so lack tact,) But I’ve met a few Nymphomaniacs; And no one’s ever Was ever so kind To bare without strings Her behind.
How lovely. I wrote one called - The Cat is Free - Everyone thinks it is about me. But no it was about a cat we loved. Adeline

Short and to the point. Loved the last two lines- a puppy begging for love.
