My guesses: Here goes...Sloth, slug, caterpillar, crocodile, bushbaby, kite, chameleon, ostrich, desert fox, crowned crane or diadem lemur? ? , koala, kangaroo/joey, armadillo, rattlesnake, camel. Migration: lobsters, wildebeest, reindeer (obviously topical at Xmas!) Missed one or two. Enjoyed the guessing.

It's a masterpiece of poetry and zoology! Excellent work of the poet, well done! I'd say sloth, slug, and bushbaby are in there? Plenty more in this jungle for others to find.

Its a moving poem, I for one I always look out in a poem some thing to learn from it and i guess I have got hold of my own piece of this Hot cake.
