I have visited this poem lately for which I couldn't attain the riddle. It is really an interesting and beautiful poem on animals and reptiles as a riddle. Thank you for sharing and those poets and poetesses who have attained the riddle. I also congratulate them who are winners of the riddle.

My guesses: Here goes...Sloth, slug, caterpillar, crocodile, bushbaby, kite, chameleon, ostrich, desert fox, crowned crane or diadem lemur? ? , koala, kangaroo/joey, armadillo, rattlesnake, camel. Migration: lobsters, wildebeest, reindeer (obviously topical at Xmas!) Missed one or two. Enjoyed the guessing.

Well, how irritating, the complaining post was accepted but not the one that mattered. If I find time I'll try again later!

I just went to the trouble of answering your excellent riddles only to find, as has happened to me in the past, that on entering the verification code and submitting it wasn't accepted and now I've lost the post! I'm now going to see if I'll be able to submit this! !

It's a masterpiece of poetry and zoology! Excellent work of the poet, well done! I'd say sloth, slug, and bushbaby are in there? Plenty more in this jungle for others to find.
