Animal Control Poem by Dorsey Baker

Animal Control

match
box full
of matches
strike one
watch
it burn itself to death
in cages housed
them they
cannot escape
the danger is real
endless wall
block the view
falling flat
upon it's back
tiger helpless
cannot control
the angry mob
it must be humble
it must submit
to the heavy anger
it hides within
