I should have, when I should have.
Looking back, we're told we shouldn't -

Were all students I agree. We never stop learning. We learn something every day. I like to think that no one has ever seen it or know it all. Until the day they die, because that is the life they've lived. A really fine poem. Bien!

It's a simple but highly thought provoking piece! A perennial angst to know how others rate us will certainly ward us off many an evil

Hope you will have good marks, as I read from your poems, seem to discover a gold heart..as long as we dont harm and try our best to do good no matter what is the reason for, then any Kind of God let's hope will give some better marks.. if that is what we want..But until then, I plea for the chance to play as goddes(lol) and give you best of best 10's for all the poems I had seen coming from your sorrow or happy living times. Thanks for share, I'll have some of your poems on my favorites if you dont mind, please.

A very thought provoking piece Jerry, if only we all keep our final score cards in mind the 'should have, could have, would have routine' would have long ceased to worry us...Great write

As the saying goes: an unexamined life is not worth living… of course this can cause much angst. A nice poem.

You would certainly have scored very high as you have already realized in this life what you should or ought to have done. Very neatly and nicely presented poem. arya

'But life is a learning process. Aren't we all students? I wonder what my marks will be at the end? ' The ending line is definitely thought-provoking!

In the school of life, we'll be students til the day we die. Looking back we can learn from the past - from the decisions we made, the paths we chose to follow...in amongst the regrets and unfulfilled dreams what remains is the person we have become - as for scores - top marks I'd say...Justine xx
