Angry Repent Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Angry Repent

In a way might I say
'All the angels are now dead'
Heaven knows, There is no, Hell
Yet here is why I ask

Am I a joke or just a toy
Why my life instead
Dreams are never mine to have
Only pain and death

Are you more than just a lie
Is life lived within, instead
Tell me god of loneliness
Why I scream and wake in sweat

All that was may have been forgotten
Spare from mine all feelings of regret
Let me dream in worlds to follow
Allow for once a final rest

Days linger onward and we pray
For Thee', Are lonely fools
When heaven fades into the darkness
Remember, I warned you
