Anger Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Anger

Rating: 5.0

Like a mason the bricks are laid
Maybe from no important a foundation
Gradually the lintel is approached and surpassed
And the roof is blown off
A house of weak foundation

The young and old are captives
The poor and wealthy are susceptible
Even the godly remain unspared
In the vice grip of a scourge
Called anger
