Her past hides in secret coves and sandy dunes, Where overhead seagulls cries are heard and her inner screams, She sings lonely ballads and lonely tunes, Her suffering was a reality of coming from a broken home - that is a truly, beautifully, orchestrated verse which strikes a nerve with me, because that is me. well done; -)

Hope the best for all of you :) :) :) Smile more then! ! :)
I love my past, painful but nice, too high was its price, my present I cannot sacrifice, it's not too costly and it's pleasant and nice.
To die to the past if it has been annoying and live in the present is the only way to be happy in life! When a new journey is begun through a smooth road, why go back to rugged tracks already left behind! Again she needn't sing lonely tunes...... but joyful duets...! Beautiful transition from a sorry past to a merry present!
I love reading a poem and coming across a line that stops me in my tracks, picks me up, and sets me down in a different place from my desk. And that is exactly what happened here- - - - - - Her past hides in secret coves and sandy dunes, Where overhead seagulls cries are heard - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Oh, well done, Hazel, your pen can sketch a scene without a bunch of gaudy words and phrases. You used simple words to sculpt the scene and blast if I don't hear those seagulls. Well-done! ! !
Fine and lofty rendition in verse with rhythmic splendour. Elegantly crafted in persuasive poetic expressions with artistic brilliance. Lovely and very passionate. Thanks for sharing Hazel.
