A rather dejected poem, yet God's blessing comes upon Andy in the end. Pretty beautiful poem, but very sad, beautiful rhyming endings,

Andy is to spend 14 days in quarinteen because he crossing the border. Police will check his papers and his cattle, to see they are in order. Andy does'nt mind the wait, He'll forget about the broken gate For now he's in the Sunshine state, And livin' it up, Mate.

I love it. I can't really explain what but there is something very dear and precious about Andy himself. it's almost like that feeling you get after reading a book and you're in love with a character. This felt like that.

is it possible that ANDY signifies the FERTILITY of the soil in Australia... and CATTLE signifies the economy? ? and the title ANDY'S GONE WITH CATTLE means... the fertility of the lands of australia's gone as well as the economy's falling look at each line.... i think i made some sense...heheh PS: the melody is really good-no it's great.... i must agree with angela: GREAT WORDS AND FANTASTIC POEM...
