What a lovely write, Shaun. We could really feel how tired you are and yet your mind is not willing to give up without penning your magnum opus. There are days that this poem resonates with me. Beautifully penned.Straight from the heart.
I'm never too tired to reply and thank a word-class poetess as your good self Rose Marie. So, I thank you for your generous comment. On quiet days my thoughst/ideas just flow, but, when hectic at the museum I'm too focused/honed on my job and wonderful people who are the world to me. C'est la vie.
