And Then You Will Meet Poem by Suryendu Chaudhury

And Then You Will Meet

If some little warmth of your little presence
Makes what it takes to create a universe,
If millions of multiverses speak through your eyes,
You shall have a Bard, a Minstrel, a Friend - at your doorstep.

If your mind knows how to love little minds,
Too curious perhaps to conjure curiosity,
And the silence that surrounds you creates melody,
You shall have a Bard, a Minstrel, a Friend - at your doorstep.

If your soul still soulfully seeks beyond infinity,
If your stance be but clouded by an air of simplicity,
And if you can sing along with a nobody and a Somebody,
You shall have a Bard, a Minstrel, a Friend - at your doorstep.

If you can paint your own canvas with your rainbow,
If you can feel like rain and melt like snow,
And if you can listen to the whispers of an absence
You shall have a Bard, a Minstrel, a Friend - at your doorstep.

If your essence can make the existence count
To dive deeper than the fathomless future,
And if you can hold onto eternity in a moment's response
You shall have a Bard, a Minstrel, a Friend - at your doorstep.

If your wish can fulfil the wants of wearied hearts,
If you are that which you don't want to know,
And know that you are that which you shall be,
You shall have a Bard, a Minstrel, a Friend - at your doorstep.
