And So It Goes Poem by Nellie Isabelle Steward Cooper

And So It Goes

And so it goes... in a mist or a wisp of thinking or thought about this or that.. or perhaps about that or this... with quite a small twist

I direct my thoughts:

Shall I murder you as quickly as possible or maybe just invalidate you

An action which creates a strange and perplexing difficulty in itself and leaves us..

All with a very dire problem...! ! !

Eternal... non existence... with no chance of counterfeit reconciliation as in the past

Not presenting myself as a creative or artistic person... not at all... this only when it comes to destruction and desolation

To be... or not to be...? ? ?

As William Shakespeare once contemplated, the many mysteries and enigmas of this sometimes harsh and bitter life...

None of us will be...as the time comes when we
are having no longer a choice in the matter...

A countless stream of torment and vicissitudes

Mystery... come forth... why do we do this.. maybe for bloodlust, which could be for old times sake.. to stay connected, constant, and continuous... something of the distant past still veils us

Why oh why do we have to be so smart and sophisticated... with such devices

Be it much better to still kill with sword and mace... and victor clean up the blood...

Thus we should spare the innocent earth

A nuclear exchange is just a euphemism for annihilation... being first to shrike no longer matters...! ! !
