So many years after Your death, Pablo Neruda! I fell in love with you- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -yes! ! ! I also fell in love with his voice. This makes it hard for men who are not great poets to utter lush and passionate words into our hearts.... nothing like a little competition to stir a man's passion! Excellent excellent poem of praise and joy in a master's work. 10+++++++++++++

An emotional poem that brings out the feelings of a poetess for a poet whose words and rhymes have made a deep impact. Pablo Neruda's mortal body is no more but his spirit lives on through his wonderful poems. A great poem, Bharati! A full vote -10+++

I too love Neruda. In fact, I have translated two of his poems (Poetry and If You Forget Me) into my native Malayalam. Both have been received well. He was a genius, no doubt. (10)

The words once whispered- - Yes, thank you for reading and telling about your most favored line of the poem. When we go through the work of any great writer, we find some lines or stanza hold our emotion. We just want to linger on the feelings generated by those words.Initially I was finding it difficult to understand fully Pablo Neruda's poem.Gradually I understood and came to love his poems. This happens regarding any great work.True appreciation comes when we fully understand the meanings. My initial feeling about Neruda's poems has been the theme of my another poem namely- -Shall I Wait Till I Understand Pablo Neruda. This poem has been posted on Poem Hunter.I hope you will like it.

This is such a tender poem about a beloved poet. Like so many others, Neruda is a poet we love because his voice is so intimate and completely free of guile or bias. There is a quiet joy you express that finally his poems make sense to you. Your patience has been rewarded! Your book has a poem on Neruda in which you describe that process of appreciation in terms of motherhood and giving new life. The Neruda I know from reading his poems for over 40 years would be proud and happy to read what you wrote. It touches a deep place in any poet's heart to know these things.
