And Now There Is A Rainbow Leading Our Parade Poem by M. A Heathcote

And Now There Is A Rainbow Leading Our Parade

From angels to birds
The singing is heard.
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Have you heard the word?

Have you heard the singing?
Have you seen the sacrificial lamb?
Have you captured a sacred ibis?
Hallelujah, hallelujah.

Have you heard the word?
Or have you taken the Fifth Amendment?
What good will your silence do?
What good will your hatred bring?

Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Devils are fallen.
Men of vice are jailed.
And someone close to you is singing.

Hallelujah, hallelujah.
A new day is dawning.
Salvation is at hand.
If you can pray with both your hands

Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Have you not heard the singing?
The church bells are ringing.
The world is at a crossroads, and Jesus Christ is winning.

Hallelujah, hallelujah.
There is singing in the streets.
There is dancing in the brigade.
And now there is a rainbow leading our parade.
