The poem shows your understanding of another's feelings, very empathetic indeed. The end is very pinching and heart wrenching, but as you said, life goes on... Regards Naseer

So much empathy in here and raw vision of another's life; but then again, rampant compassion and a far seeing vision are two of your more finely tuned attributes.

Your final line gives the perfect (and unexpected) finishing touch to this most appealing narrative piece about one who accepts what he cannot change and finds blessings in what he has. The overly sweet tea episode tells us so much more about him than would a fistful of words describing his generosity. Excellent write. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

It surely is a 'life must go on' for this very special character of this interesting piece, Sandra. He is so blessed..He will never see life's turmoil and everything under a normal circumstance.. I find these piece very special for me because, in spite of, life for this grand old man will still go on. A nice message that everybody should be encouraged, that no matter what, 'life must go on.'..wise words...full of wisdom. thank you so much for this encouraging piece. It made me smile now, and I say..My life must go on.. Love you so much, Meggie
