Oh what a tangled web you weave. Your allusion to Teddy Roosevelt is not a 'modest proposal.' Given the choice of despair or thrusting out your chest and having a go at it, your advice in this poem is sound. Tom

Hi Sir Herbert. I like your 'Stick'. I do offer a suggestion for the closing line. If it read as such: 'While others may web for the devils to weave.' Or, 'While the others web as devils weave.' OR 'While others feed the devils' weave.' Regardless, it's still very thought provoking. L
