Ancient Proclamations/ Modern Concerns Poem by DM W

Ancient Proclamations/ Modern Concerns

Rating: 5.0

Ancient proclamations merge with modern concerns,
In the chaotic workshop of the frenzied mind.
I will sculpt words/ phrases while the inner flame burns,
And transcribe vivid, esoteric symbols and signs.
Despite the endless flow of garish distractions,
This current age hints at the eternal design.
Despite the artificial, teeming Creation
Enters through the cracks, and is perceived by keen eyes.

Old meets new and I prefer the masters, the artisans, the thinkers. However there are one or two around today that deserve a salute or a doff of the cap. Great poem Dominic so well written and how knows we might just pull through if we learn and respect histories teachings and wisdom. Many thanks and I wish you well.
