Ancient myths still haunt our consciousness.
Despite all our modern placations.
Our suffering is symbolised by
Abysses, sea serpents, labyrinths,
And ungodly, Minotaur terrors.
Although we have made significant
Technological progress; although
We have identified far off stars,
We have yet to truly tap into,
The dark realms of the arcane psyche.
You had me easy with the word myths in its the title. Let alone the word ancient. Great poem so neatly written and displayed. ! 0++ and added to my Pandora's Jar of myths and fables. Thanks again Dominic and keep writing absolute and warmly welcomed quality.
Thanks Shaun. I checked out Thomas Coston's poems late last night, as you say very impressive. I added some likes to your comments.
