I think that often the ancient Greeks are lifted too high in our esteem. They definetely had their shortcomings as well. Nonetheless they were the ones who played a very important role in the development of philosophy and thinking and reflecting about our self. As much as I admire some of their philosophers, I realise that the ones we praise as great warriors are in fact the among the greatest crooks that ever lived (see my poem on Y.. Poetry and history) . The decadence that is plaguing currently our society has to be blamed on ourselves. It is us who have let it happen and it is us who can do something about. Let us start a kindness revolution today.
