It bleeds from my lips like a dagger fresh from battle
And falls on deaf ears
The words pour from my body as my pen stands motionless
My words are pictures for all to see
But they can't understand the painting
They are uncaring and cold
They drink from the same fountain
And speak a language only they understand
They ask for change in a world that can be bought for a price
They are lost and tangled
In a web they designed
Their ignorance is obvious
And their words are bias and unthinkable
And prey on the weak and lonely
They pour the coolaid for all to drink
And laugh and use us for their own gain
And we are blind and dumb
When will change come
When their greed is no longer acceptable
When we say enough and stand together as one
