Analysis Of 'time' Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

Moment....
the smallest constituent of 'time'
although moment is in continuum
each moment is distinct
no two moments are alike
every moment...
changes the earth's position
along with other planets and celestial bodies
the quality and velocity of air changes
change in sky
metabolic changes in our body
so also our mind changes
and the external forces on our mind
if the present moment is 'x'
and the next moment, 'y'
then 'x' is not equal to 'y'
why lament for 'x' when 'x' is over?
why worry about future
which may be more than square of 'x'?
this is the simple reason...
why each moment needs to be enjoyed
spreading 'love' to each of the body cells
no thoughts to be carried forward
no emotions need to be transferred
as next moment, different from present moment
anger, greed, jealousy and hatred
problem, risk, sorrows and happiness
all these are momentary
their validity only for a moment
The inference:
just live in the present moment
and visualize each moment
as gift of the Almighty.
