i like it. AND it is short enough for me to use in my/our June 2017's showcase for PH poets on my PH site. let me know if you don't want it to be included, this coming month, with poems all by 'female' poets. favorite lines: Where destiny merges with time Millions of universes away known only as dark death to mankind! ! ......but, it seems it means more than dark death to you, and to millions........................................................................more who, unlike me, believe in 'life after death'. :) i would use comes: come drifting on you...............but i won't change it unless you tell/ask me to. i'll also use your Poet's Notes. Thanks, bri ;) to MyPoemList also.

Have never seen anything as beautiful written about a topic like death! My favourite lines: 'Taken on this grand tour. Where destiny merges with time.' Can't believe that you wrote this when you were in school!

Thanks Ketki, yes sometimes I really don't know how these words string up n pop out and in this world we call it a poem...yes I have written a few poems from my 7th grade on... most not worth sharing, some I am unable to figure out what I intended but a few I felt were good enough t be shared and have put it up in this forum recently.. thanks for your time and comments.. request you to check out a few more of mine especially A Father's Grief, Seattle Blossoms which I feel have come out beautifully.

Sleep takes away all complications. This eternal sleep is mysterious. and it lies in destiny's hands. This is timeless, it is immortal. very brave writing.

I am not even sure what must have prompted me to write this poem way back then, like I said maybe I am a channel for higher spirits..

this passage assures me that Seema has a firm comprehension that she has a Soul, and it has a final destination. yet its thoughts will never Sleep. its yearnings will go on. its Sorrow; Grief; Compassion, and empathy will be a Virtuous treasure for the one's that Live on after Her.

Comprehension regarding the existence of soul, god and higher consciousness is but a given in our culture. more true from the subculture which I come from, my native place is from a place called Kannur (Cannanore) a region called North Malabar in Kerala State, India (Kerala is called God's own country and you must visit some day) . In Kannur we are heavily exposed to ancient traditional ways of nature worship in various dance forms with elaborate costumes and paintings on the body called Theyyam (I will write more on that later) the theyyam festivals are celebrated in a relay running into several days over several months in each of the small temples close to nature called Kavu built every few kilometers. We also consider a God form called Mutthappan a representation of Lord Shiva living in the forests of Malabar region close to nature... though city bred we still go back to our roots whenever we can and I love attending these festivals whenever I can, religiously conducted with all sincerity and fervor. No doubt I speak of souls even unknowingly..

The peaceful eternal sleep in simple words death is an inseparable companion with all and the poem is relevant and praiseworthy.
