EW.....I was at the edge of my seat with heart pounding...right there with every move and every shadow....thinking how scared I used to be when I was young and a thunder storm rolled in....but you caught at the end...awwwww..MUM to the rescue of the after a bad fever breaks.....I like your poems that are almost short stories...thanks for a great read...hugs...lil sis
