An Old Woman By The Window Comments

This is really lovely. I was completely drawn in to her story!

I liked this poem very much...congrats on its being chosen as poem of the day...watching and waiting...sometimes it is the only option left...

Sometimes life becomes so painful that death remains the only relief, but this is true for a old human. You flt her absence and wrote this nice poem.

I like to think perhaps she has found what she had been searching for. The old woman behind the window is caged. Her spirit now free. Nice write, thought provoking.

Some day we too shall sit like her Staring at the pageant of life going by Across the window grills stiff and cold Till the time comes to go below and peacefully lie......... Very good poem and reminds us of our time to come........

We all find ourselves wondering about that woman in the window..... I really enjoyed the write tho :)

These things you notice are the things that you think about, off and on, in your life. You may find it will have a deeper meaning for your life to come. A lovely poem eloida..one that makes you stop and picture the empty window with a little saddnesss. I had an experience with an elderly couple when I was a very small girl. I have written about that..and still think of it today. I will post it if I can. Regards...Sharon.
