The poet an atheist sees the things with a discerning eye and is caustic as well. The old woman as it is found in temple complex is like that one in Vrindavan, Puri and Benares.
It is a Khandoba series of poems written in Marathi, but translated into English commemorating the journey to the temple in a sardonic--satiric way of presentation.
For anyone looking for an explanation or summary. This poem is about a stubborn, manipulative, clingy, persistent old woman that has gone through something tragic. She just wants some money. Not 100% correct but that's what I comprehend.

How to see Khandoba at Jejuri? It is not Khandoba who engages him, but the old woman and doubt questioning his faith. What is this all for?
