When I prayed to the Lord and said Help! I need somebody, He answered me in accepting and loving friends that I have been blessed to have both on this site and a few others. Another Beatles song that goes hand in hand with this one is With A Little Help From My Friends. And yes sis, we need the help of others and a little help from our friends too. You certainly have put the song into perspective and gave it meaning. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, your sister in Christ our Lord, Barbara

The Beatles are one of my all time favorite bands and I love how you gave one of my favorite songs by them (only riveled by 'Hey Jude') so much more meaning. That song says so much more now than I gave it credit.: j

That song was their best, I believe. Certainly, my favorite. I'm not sure you needed the word British in the last line. Good poem! GW62
