Contd. A lovely ode dear poet. For a few days now I was thinking of your poems, that for some time I've not read one, but failed to look for one. And this one comes to my view.

Only a few days back while at Bangalore I was mad at squirrels, when they would eat away things kept for birds in a little birdie house. Now, here at Baroda I can only see them from far. But how can you be mad at them for long? And this poem says never ever.

A beautiful ode to one of the wonders of nature with great rhyme and compelling imagery. Very astute observation which makes a reader at close range with these lovely creatures. So beautifully written.

Squirrels are a great delight to watch and spend time. Your final stanza brings the squirrel so close to hand. I must carry some nuts.

I was in a park with someone special on a sunday noon, and we were looking in awe at a couple of little squirrels that came by playing around us.. My companion is a very big fan of these little ones and I seem to love them too.. It was a special Sunday as I was out on a second date with her, and those little ones just made the whole experience even more sweeter.. I loved your poem Valsa ma'am.. It is fine ode with wonderful rhyming words.. And my personal experience and recollection of thoughts in this tranquility made me have a spontaneous smile.. Thank you for sharing.

I have mixed feelings about this tree rodent: -) Their antics delight me, but they mess up my gardens. Fantastic ode, Valsa. A 10
