I get the sense of absurdity of every possible Halloween rites.Nice And humorous thanks.
Very funny, love how it built and the climax was an empty candy pail.
Oh no, they didn't soap your windows or egg your car I hope! Do kids still do that now a days? Great build up to a surprise ending...Happy Halloween Chuck!
Ahh, found my favorite new Halloween poem..plus a lot of good hints for the future!
i really liked it, it draged me in to read more(: faboulos job: D Could you comment on my poems as well, please and thank you(:
Chuck, 10 from me because you really are a poet at heart...wonderfully clever! What slow thinker dared to give you '5'? Love your work. Dorothy
And I thought this was going to be dark and serious to the bitter end...shoulda known better :) Such a relief! Jack.
Chuck, LOL! ! ! Priceless. Oh yes, my kids and I know those darkened windows oh so well. I love the surprise ending. Hugs Dee
The trick is to buy candy that you DON'T like! Otherwise it's just too inviting. Great use of imagery - and perfect build-up to ending surprise. Made me think of the 'Halloween' movies - they were the worst! Linda
I thought it was a little dark in the begining which is great and was wondering where it would lead. And, then the ending, so funny! Great read and that isn't because Halloween is my favorite holiday.
st.5: 'it's' the p.s. is a list to after, i; m sure! : ) bri
