You have rightly pointed out today's plight.Lack of Consciousness is the reason. As the King so the Subjects. People are increasingly becoming Herd. Especially, Tamil Nadu is the Trend Setter. It really pains. The politicians never worry what will be in store for them when they leave abode. May be Millions of Births as rewards?

The Indian Politics is sickening to see. Less speak about it, better, as it creates vomitings.

Where was Mahatma, where was 'inner voice'. Our politics has traveled a long way from that; .................into thick muck of selfishness......a good poem Sankar.

An Indian Political Situation-according to your poem-is international political situation-in my opinion- thus your country's issues are more similar than different. Man's [human] ultimate goal is to dominate. domination=power=money and every things else is not consdered, However, goverments/socities keep that pacifier[ religion] in our mouth thats keeps us pacified and quiet while the powers that be pillage their country-and others too. While we're nursing and napping.Good write. Again, your well written poem speaks of people around the world. Thanks for the reawakening We're experiencing our own[ US} political situation namely, the health care issue that was just signed into law a few hours ago.The anger and hate that I've seen the past several months is baffleing.a 10
