An Incongruity Poem by james watkin

An Incongruity

Jewel of a world. Singularly
Beguiles in its vibrancy.
Yet from which unique preciousness
How oft this must turn away!
Synchronous with roving eye's verve
Interstellar, advanced nerve.
Fiercest, for what of our mired soul
Emanates. Thick man of clay!
