words as long as an inch can travel miles and touch someone's heart beyond the soil one steps on... beautiful gift you've made us... thanks

How far? Good write. Could use a bit of minimalism.

The moral must be 'a frustrating inch away from that which we desire may as well be a mile' and for those of us who often suffer from insomnia an inch away from sleep is deeply distressing. An inch away from love, seems like a knife etch for any afraid to take the final leap or afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing. Loved the deeply moving images of 'An Inch' too far to obtain.

An inch away from being a real poem because of the lack of rhyme scheme. Nice ideas..nice stream of consciousness style. Good vocabulary. Needs a few more little bits of clarity within the inches of perplexity.

Very fascinating. I love how you've captured the barest escape with the repeated reminder of a mere inch and inching away. Delightful. Intriguing as well....seemingly referring to forbidden pleasures. I enjoyed how you depicted it all so cleverly with just an 'inch'....Excellent!
