An Ice Pack Please! Poem by Kostas Lagos

An Ice Pack Please!

Her gaze met mine
I felt our breaths synchronising
our bodies started to shiver
the passion that was slowly burning
erupted in a punch thrown at my right eye
'Don't you ever tell me such a stupid lie
trying to justify yourself! ', she yelled at me
closing forcefully the door behind her
without giving me even an ice pack!

You should not give her an ice pack, either.

And she 'll need one for her hand...
