AN EXPRESSION OF SAVING FAITH

An expression of saving faith
Is joy and peace and love
Having been forgiven of our sin
We can fellowship now with God
And prayer remains a constant
For in prayer, we made our peace
Asking the Lord to save us
Who from sin has given relief

There's evidence in our demeanor
We are new creatures in Christ
So thankful for our so great Salvation
Because He's paid our ransom price
With a new passion now for living
For we're assured of our destiny
To tell others of the love of God
Poured out at Calvary

What wonderful grace of Jesus
Upon acceptance of faith in Him
His Spirit giving me assurance
That the Lord now lives within
My God, my Lord, my Conqueror
My Truth and Resurrection
Today just a sinner saved by grace
One day it will be perfection!

Hallelujah, what a Saviour!
